Partying in Berlin is a great experience. There are not many cities in the world who can compete with the nightlife in Berlin and the great parties are defenitely a reason to visit the capital of Germany. The clubs in Berlin are very versatile and the prices are very reasonable.
Clubs in Berlin
In November 2012, CNN compared some of the beste nightlife-cities in the world and Berlin ended up winning the second place (only Ibiza scored higher). Partying in Berlin scored the maximum amount of point on the aspects opening-hours and music. If you partied in Berlin before, you know that CNN is right: Berlin never sleeps and it is a great benefit that many great and talented DJ’s love to perform in the capital of Germany. Besides the opening-hours and the music, the clubs in Berlin also offer very reasonable prices: For about 10-15 Euro you can party in Berlin and see some of the best artists from all over Europe.
Because Berlin offers many different clubs, it might be useful to get some help when you are choosing the right place to visit on your precious free nights. On Berlin-Enjoy you can find articles about clubs in Berlin on a regular basis, but in this article we will present the best locations to party in Berlin in the current month. We selected the coolest clubs, the best DJ’s and the sweetest events and put them in the list.
Chosing events obviously comes with a great deal of subjectivity. Therefore we will always attempt to explain why a certain event should be visited and you will also find a lot of links to mixtapes and songs of the specific artists. But always keep in mind that the events are selected because we think they are great and not everybody has to share this opinion. Berlin offers a lot of great Techno and (Deep)House parties, so you will find many of them in the party-calender. If you do not agree with the events, feel free to leave a comment or contact us about great gigs and events which we should visit.
Party in Berlin: September 2017
The month September is packed with some great parties in Berlin again. The weather has a bit better the last couple of weeks so also in September we can expect some spontaneous open-airs throughout the city. Unfortunately most of the large German festivals are already behind us but this only means that the famous DJs are available again for the “normal” parties in Berlin.
Umami, Len Faki, Till von Sein and more…
As mentioned, September has plenty to offer when it comes to great acts and talented DJs. Some real Berliner DJs will be performing and besides that some popular international names will also be visiting Berlin. If you are visiting Berlin to party, you will be excited to hear that superstars like Till von Sein, Tony Lionni, Henrik Schwarz, Umami and Len Faki will be performing. If you never heard of these names before you can always listen tot their music on Soundcloud: I mostly present a liveset or mixtape below the parties in Berlin in this article. So just take some time to listen to the music before the party so you get a good idea of what to expect.
Below you can find the list of my favorite events to party in September 2017. You can decide to scroll down or click on one of the following links:
01.09.2017 – Tyree Cooper in Suicide Circus
The Revaler Straße and the whole area around the Warschauer Brucke is one of the most popular party-areas in Berlin. The club Suicide Circus is also located in this area and therefore plenty of people find there way into this club every weekend. The Suicide Circus is one of these raw clubs in Berlin which we all love so much: An old building with a dark dance-floor and great music. When it is warm enough you will also be able to dance in the garden.
Tyree Cooper is an American DJ who got famous for being one of the first to play House HipHop. I saw Tyree Cooper live in About:Blank once and this was one of the best nights in Berlin I had so far. Mister Cooper performed awesome and since that moment I try to visit him every time he visits Berlin. There is not that much music of him on Soundcloud, but here you can find a mixtape.
DJs: Tyree Cooper
Club: Suicide Circus
Address: Revaler Strasse 99
Entrance: 10 Euro
Music: House, Techno

02.09.2017 – Bloody Mary in Tresor
The Tresor is one of the most unique clubs in Berlin. De club is located in the Köpenickestrasse in Berlin-Mitte and the place is literally located under the ground. The location reminds most visitors of a underground war-bunker and the rough techno and excessive use of blacklight make a night in the Tresor a special experience. The Tresor can be reached by foot from station Jannowitzbrucke and the door-policy is not as difficult as many other clubs in Berlin.
In 2005, Bloody Mary moved from her home in France to Berlin. Since that moment, she has been focusing on her music career more intensively and she gained more fans during every party she played. This is mainly because she really adjusts to her crowd and is in constant interaction with her fans. Her music fits to the city of Berlin, if you want to listen to a liveset, you can click here.
DJs: Bloody Mary
Address: Köpenicker Straße 70
Entrance: nog onbekend

08.09.2017 – Till von Sein in Kater Blau
One of the most popular clubs Berlin has ever known was the Kater Holzig. If you have read my article about this club, you probably know that it was quite a unique place to party in Berlin. But unfortunately the club had to close down and Berlin lost one of his great venues. But not long after closing down the owners opened a new place which is called Kater Blau. The club is located directly at the Spree and still has this same unique feel to it. The door-policy did not change so it is still not easy to get in, but the place is definitely worth a visit.
Till von Sein is one of these great DJs which you can only see in Berlin for such a cheap price. The fact that this German DJ has almost 50.000 followers on Soundcloud already proves his popularity. This guy is very talented and plays a lot of different music-styles so let him surprise you. If you want to listen to some music of Till von Sein before you party in Berlin, you can click here.
DJs: Till von Sein
Club: Kater Blau
Address: Holzmarktstraße 25
Entrance: 14 Euro
Music: Techno, House

09.09.2017 – Len Faki in Berghain
Berghain is probably the most famous club in Berlin. If you are looking for a special experience or party in Berlin, it might be a good idea to visit the Berghain. The only small problem could be that it not easy to get into the Berghain these days. On a regular saturday-night there is a very long line and about half of the people will be refused entrance. So if you want to visit the Berghain, make sure you are prepared for a small dissapointment.
But if you get into the Berghain you will have a great night. This club has been voted as the best club in the world a couple of times. So I would suggest you make the best of the time you are waiting and if you will not get in you can always try another club. You do not have much to lose and if you get in, you are in one of the best clubs in world!
The line-up in the Berghain is always very solid. Every weekend you will be able to see a great DJ perform and the Berghain also has some regulars which are quite famous. One of these DJs who is playing on large festivals but also plays in the Berghain quite often is Len Faki. This guy has about 400.000 fans on Facebook so that should say something about his popularity. He produces solid techno and knows how to get the crowd started.
The entrance for this party in Berlin will be 14 Euro and you do not have to worry about the opening-hours because the Berghain is open the whole weekend.
DJs: Len Faki
Address: Am Wriezener Bahnhof 70
Entrance: 14 Euro
Link to the event: Berghain
15.09.2017 – Sebastian Voigt in Wilden Renate
Another club in Berlin which is a must-visit, is the Wilden Renate. This club is located close to Ostkreuz and very popular because of its unique style. This club has many different floors and will remind you of an old house with many surprising rooms. As mentioned, the Wilden Renate is a popular place so it is best to arrive early, not with a very large group and with at least a few girls.
The line-up of the Wilden Renate is not as spectacular as the Watergate or Ritter Butzke. The Renate focuses more on local heros so why not get to know some new DJs when you are in Berlin. Besides that the club has many different floors (if they are all open) so you will probably find one which will suit your taste of music. One of the DJs which will be performing on this night is Sebastian Voigt and his livesets are definitely solid. If you want to get an impression before you party in Berlin, check out his podcast for Wilden Renate here.
DJs: Sebastian Voigt
Club: Wilden Renate
Address: Alt Stralau 70
Entrance: 12 Euro

16.09.2017 – Bebetta in Birgit & Bier
Birgit & Bier is located on walking distance from station Schlesisches Tor. Besides great parties during the night you can also find plenty of solid open-airs here during the day and evening. The club consists of several areas to chill, dance or order your drinks. Besides that they invite talented local DJs to make sure the music is of a great quality. During the day you can sometimes find other activities like design-markets, football-matches or workshops here. All in all we can conclude that Birgit & Bier is definitely worth a visit.
Although Bebetta looks like an innocent girl, her livesets are powerful and solid. She has been playing in clubs and festivals all over Germany and also performed on Fusion Festival more than once. The liveset I have chosen for you to listen, was recorded on another German festival, the Feel Festival 2015. Bebetta always finds some cool ways to interact with her fans, so it is really worth your time to visit this party in Berlin.
Club: Birgit & Bier
Address: Schleusenufer 3
Entrance: 5-15 Euro
Link to event: Birgit & Bier Facebook
22.09.2017 – Umami in Ritter Butzke
The Ritter Butzke is one of the clubs in Berlin which is represented in my party-calender almost every month. If you like to party in Berlin and you love a solid line-up, you will probably love the DJs which are performing in the Ritter Butzke. The good thing is, that the Ritter Butzke has the same entrance-prices as all the other clubs in Berlin. For 10-15€ you can see these popular DJs in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
Umami consists of two German friends called Robert and Sam. Their music is versatile and you will hear many covers and familiar music between the climaxes. Umami is just as active on Soundcloud as many other DJs so just have a look over there if you want to listen to some of their music. Personally I really loved their liveset on Fusion 2015.
Want to win 2×2 free Guest-List spots for this party?
We are allowed to give-away guestlist tickets for the party above. All you have to do is tag a friend under this Facebook-post and the winners will be published on Facebook. Normally not that many people are joining these giveaways so the odds are in your favor.
Club: Ritter Butzke
Address: Lobeckstrasse 30
Entrance: 12-14 Euro
Link to event: Ritter Butzke
23.09.2017 – Henrik Schwarz in Watergate
The Watergate is one of the most stylish clubs in Berlin and also a bit more expensive than most others. The entrance is normally 15 euro and a beer will costs 4 euro. Although the prices are a bit higher, most people love the Watergate and I personally also think it is worth the few extra Euro’s. The club has two floors and an awesome view on the Spree. If you want to read more about the Watergate, you can read my previous article.
Henrik Schwarz is a famous German DJ who started making music almost 25 years ago (in 1992). He always had a special relationship with the city Berlin and also with the club Watergate. This is why he is performing in this club on a regular basis. Henrik Schwarz has been playing on almost every large festival in Germany. If you want to listen to one of his livesets, you can find one on Soundcloud.
DJs: Henrik Schwarz
Address: Falckensteinstraße 49
Entrance: 15 Euro
Music: House, Techno
Link to club: Watergate Website
29.07.2017 – Tony Lionni in Griessmühle
The Griessmühle is one of the many clubs in Berlin with an awesome location. The club is located directly at the water and has a large garden. The garden is decorated in the typical Berlin-Style and this is one of the reasons this club is so popular. The people and the atmosphere is very laidback and especially in the summer this is a great place to visit. A great benefit about the Griessmühle is also that you can buy one ticket and it will be valid for the whole weekend. The club is located in the Sonnenallee and can be reached by traveling to the station with the same name.
A great thing about living in Berlin is that you will be able to see many DJs perform throughout the years. I personally still discover new DJs almost every weekend and Toni Lionni is one of them. This guy offers his followers a mix of house, soul, funk and jazz. I would almost describe his music like disco-house. But you never know which style he is going to play at this night in the Wilden Renate. If you want to listen to a liveset of Toni Lionni, you can click here.
DJs: Tony Lionni
Address: Sonnenallee 221
Entrance: 12 Euro
Music: House, Techno
Link to website: Griessmühle
30.07.2017 – Rødhåd in About Blank
A club which is also located almost directly at station Ostkreuz is About Blank. A while ago I already wrote a full article about it because I really think it is one of the better clubs Berlin has to offer at this moment. The club About Blank has a very large garden which is perfect in the summer: Funny features like a campfire and some cool places to sit make this club special place.
Just like many other DJs which are mentioned in this monthly article, Rødhåd is a DJ who is based in Berlin itself. His real name is Mike Bierbach and he is famous for his deep electronic sound. Rødhåd can be found in Berliner clubs on a regular basis and on this night in Berlin he will perform in the Berghain. If you want to get an impression of his music you can click here .
Club: About Blank
Address: Alt Stralau 70
Entrance: 12 Euro
