Partying in Berlin is a great experience. There are not many cities in the world who can compete with the nightlife in Berlin and the great parties are defenitely a reason to visit the capital of Germany. The clubs in Berlin are very versatile and the prices are very reasonable.
Clubs in Berlin
In November 2012, CNN compared some of the beste nightlife-cities in the world and Berlin ended up winning the second place (only Ibiza scored higher). Partying in Berlin scored the maximum amount of point on the aspects opening-hours and music. If you partied in Berlin before, you know that CNN is right: Berlin never sleeps and it is a great benefit that many great and talented DJ’s love to perform in the capital of Germany. Besides the opening-hours and the music, the clubs in Berlin also offer very reasonable prices: For about 10-15 Euro you can party in Berlin and see some of the best artists from all over Europe.
Because Berlin offers many different clubs, it might be useful to get some help when you are choosing the right place to visit on your precious free nights. On Berlin-Enjoy you can find articles about clubs in Berlin on a regular basis, but in this article we will present the best locations to party in Berlin in the current month. We selected the coolest clubs, the best DJ’s and the sweetest events and put them in the list.
Chosing events obviously comes with a great deal of subjectivity. Therefore we will always attempt to explain why a certain event should be visited and you will also find a lot of links to mixtapes and songs of the specific artists. But always keep in mind that the events are selected because we think they are great and not everybody has to share this opinion. Berlin offers a lot of great Techno and (Deep)House parties, so you will find many of them in the party-calender. If you do not agree with the events, feel free to leave a comment or contact us about great gigs and events which we should visit.
Party in Berlin: July 2017
The month July is a great month to visit Berlin: The sun is shining, you can visit several open-airs and if you want to get out of Berlin some great weekend-festivals also can be visited during this month. Fortunately this month also offers you some solid line-ups in the clubs in Berlin and the fact that many clubs also have an outside-area gives you another argument to visit these parties.
Ben Ufo, Stereo Express, Bondi and more…
As mentioned, October has plenty to offer when it comes to great acts and talented DJs. Some real Berliner DJs will be performing and besides that some popular international names will also be visiting Berlin. If you are visiting Berlin to party, you will be excited to hear that superstars like Ben Klock, Ben Ufo, Bondi, Stereo Express, Douglas Greed will be performing. If you never heard of these names before you can always listen tot their music on Soundcloud: I mostly present a liveset or mixtape below the parties in Berlin in this article. So just take some time to listen to the music before the party so you get a good idea of what to expect.
Below you can find the list of my favorite events to party in July 2017. You can decide to scroll down or click on one of the following links:
30.06.2017 – Oliver Schories in Ritter Butzke
Because the month July is starting in a weekend we are still presenting the last party of June in this list as well. The Ritter Butzke is always worth a visit because of its solid line-up and versatile location. The Ritter Butzke is located in Kreuzberg and can be reached by foot from station Moritzplatz (U8)
Oliver Schories is a known name in the clubscene in Holland, Germany and many other countries. The last couple of years Schories gained a lot of fans with his great performances on festivals and in clubs all over Europe. His 135.000 followers on Soundcloud are the clear proof for this statement. His music is a great mix of techno and house and is normally very versatile. If you want to listen to Oliver Schories live at Nature One, (click here).
DJs: Oliver Schories
Club: Ritter Butzke

01.07.2017 – Tony Lionni in Suicide Circus
The Revaler Straße and the whole area around the Warschauer Brucke is one of the most popular party-areas in Berlin. The club Suicide Circus is also located in this area and therefore plenty of people find there way into this club every weekend. The Suicide Circus is one of these raw clubs in Berlin which we all love so much: An old building with a dark dance-floor and great music. When it is warm enough you will also be able to dance in the garden.
A great thing about living in Berlin is that you will be able to see many DJs perform throughout the years. I personally still discover new DJs almost every weekend and Toni Lionni is one of them. This guy offers his followers a mix of house, soul, funk and jazz. I would almost describe his music like disco-house. But you never know which style he is going to play at this night in the Wilden Renate. If you want to listen to a liveset of Toni Lionni, you can click here.

07.07.2017 – Sascha Kawa in Kater Blau
One of the most popular clubs Berlin has ever known was the Kater Holzig. If you have read my article about this club, you probably know that it was quite a unique place to party in Berlin. But unfortunately the club had to close down and Berlin lost one of his great venues. But not long after closing down the owners opened a new place which is called Kater Blau. The club is located directly at the Spree and still has this same unique feel to it. The door-policy did not change so it is still not easy to get in, but the place is definitely worth a visit.
Sascha Cawa is a DJ with a strong connection to Berlin. He has been a regular DJ at the Kater Blau (and also the Kater Holzig and Bar25). He is also one of the grounders of the label KaterMukke and has been playing at big German Festivals like SonneMondSterne and Fusion. If you want to listen to his music before you go and party in Berlin, you can click here.
DJs: Sascha Cawa
Club: Kater Blau
Address: Holzmarktstrasse 25
Music: Techno, House

08.07.2017 – Stereo Express in Kosmonaut
A club which has been around since a couple of years now is called the Kosmonaut. This club opened its doors in 2012 and has already found a way to make a name in the nightlife of Berlin. Every week many party-people visit the Kosmonaut for the great atmosphere and quality-music. This club is located in one of these old buildings and has large garden which is especially awesome during the summer. You can walk to the club from station Frankfurter Tor and the door-policy is quite reasonable compared to some other Berliner-clubs.
Stereo Express is a Belgian DJ who must of you might know from the remix of Sweet Dreams of Eurythmics. He made that remix in 2012 and that year you could not visit a festival without hearing that track at least once. Since that year Stereo Express got quite popular and has been playing on several large festivals. Last year he was also performing on Fusion and you can listen to the liveset here.
DJs: Stereo Express
Address: Wiesenweg 1-4
Entrance: 10-15 Euro
Music: Techno, House

14.07.2017 – Beatamines in Watergate
Watergate is one of these clubs located at the Spree and a very popular place for both tourist and Berliners. In my opinion the club misses a little bit of the rawness of Berlin but it defenitely offers some great features to compensate. There is a balcony directly above the water and when the sun rises it offers the best view ever. Besides that the line-up of Watergate is normally like a great festival: Many large DJs and great labels. If you want to read more about the Watergate, you can read this article.
Pascal Augner is the talented DJ behind the original name Beatamines. I am not sure where the name came from but it sounds like a combination between vitamines and beats. Beatamines recorded some great tracks in the last couple of years and also played at Fusion in 2016. If you want to listen to that liveset, you should just press the button and enjoy.
Address: Falckensteinstraße 49
Entrance: 15 Euro

15.07.2017 – BEN UFO in Berghain
Berghain is probably the most famous club in Berlin. If you are looking for a special experience or party in Berlin, it might be a good idea to visit the Berghain. The only small problem could be that it not easy to get into the Berghain these days. On a regular Saturday-night there is a long line and about half of the people will unfortunately not get in. So if you want to visit the Berghain, make sure you are prepared for a small disappointment.
But IF you get into the Berghain you will have a great night. This club has been voted as the best club in the world a couple of times. So I would suggest you make the best of the time you are waiting and if you will not get in you can always try another club in the same area. You do not have much to lose and if you get in, you are in one of the best clubs in world!
Ben Ufo is a DJ who is not from Berlin (for a change). His real name is Ben Thomson and he is from the UK and has been performing all over Europe and the world for many years now. His music can be best described as solid house but he can be quite creative during his livesets. One of his livesets on a Dutch festival called Dekmantel can be found here.
DJs: BEN UFO
Address: Am Wriezener Bahnhof 70
Entrance: 14 Euro

21.07.2017 – Channel X in Birgit & Bier
Birgit & Bier is located on walking distance from station Schlesisches Tor. Besides great parties during the night you can also find plenty of solid open-airs here. The club has a nice garden and invites talented local DJs to make sure the music is of the highest quality. During the day you can sometimes find design-markets here and currently you can also watch football here. All in all we can conclude that Birgit & Bier is definitely worth a visit.
The party in the Birgit & Bier is called Hundred Fahrenheit Festival and there will be plenty of talented DJs. Channel X is one of them and part of the Stil for Talent family (of Oliver Koletzki). The real names of this DJ-Duo are André Quasar and Mirko Hensel. Because Stil for Talent is a label from Berlin, you can often find their DJ’s in the clubs in Berlin. If you did not hear the music of Channel X before, you can listen to one of their mixtapes in the Kater Holzig here.
DJs: Channel X
Club: Birgit & Bier
Adress: Schleusenufer 3
Entrance: 5-15 Euro
Link to event: Birgit & Bier Facebook
22.07.2017 – Ben Klock in Berghain
Obviously I would not recommend visiting the same club twice if you are in Berlin for a short period of time. But this list has to sum up the coolest events in Berlin and in my opinion Ben Klock is one of these DJs which will just improve your night. Besides that the Berghain is a very special club (if you get in). The entrance will be 14€ and you can stay as long as you want so try to party like a real Berliner.
The line-up in the Berghain is always very solid. Every weekend you will be able to see a great DJ perform and the Berghain also has some regulars which are quite famous. One of these DJs who is playing on large festivals but also plays on a monthly basis in the Berghain is Ben Klock. Here you can listen to a mixtape of this DJ and find out what you can expect on this night in Berlin.
DJs: Ben Klock
Adres: Am Wriezener Bahnhof 70
Entree: 14 Euro

28.07.2017 – Chris Carrier in Wilden Renate
Another club in Berlin which is a must-visit, is the Wilden Renate. This club is located close to Ostkreuz and very popular because of its unique style. This club has many different floors and will remind you of an old house with many surprising rooms. Because different music is played in every one of these rooms, you will have enough to choose from. As mentioned, the Wilden Renate is a popular place so it is best to arrive early, not with a very large group and with at least a few girls.
The Wilden Renate is not a club which invites a lot of headliners but because there are so many different rooms in this club, you will always have a great time anyway. It might be cool to get to know some new DJs for a chance as well. One of the DJs on the long list of performances is Chris Carrier from France. If you want to get an impression before you go there, you can check out his Soundcloud Profilehere.
DJs: Chris Carrier
Club: Wilden Renate
Address: Alt Stralau 70
Entrance: 12 Euro

29.07.2017 – Bondi in Ritter Butzke
The Ritter Butzke is one of the clubs in Berlin which is represented in my party-calendar almost every month. If you like to party in Berlin and you love a solid line-up, you will probably love the DJs which are performing in the Ritter Butzke. The good thing is, that the Ritter Butzke has the same entrance-prices as most other clubs in Berlin, so for 10-15€ you can see many popular DJs in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
It is always quite a special thing if DJs play an extra instrument during their livesets. Bondi is a combination of a DJ/Producer and a musician: The guys (Daniel Archut & Alexander Schug) are both from Berlin and are getting more popular every month. It is fun to seem them perform together and merge the guitar with the songs they are playing. Just to warn you in advance: It is not a guarantee, they sometimes also play a “normal” DJ-Set. If you want to listen to their music, you can click here.

As mentioned before, Berlin never really sleeps. Even during the week many clubs have interesting events and parties. In the end it can be a really good idea to party during the week because the clubs are not that crowded and many clubs have free entrance. If you want to party in Berlin during the week, here are some suggestions:
