Partying in Berlin is a great experience. There are not many cities in the world who can compete with the nightlife in Berlin and the great parties are defenitely a reason to visit the capital of Germany. The clubs in Berlin are very versatile and the prices are very reasonable.
Clubs in Berlin
In November 2012, CNN compared some of the beste nightlife-cities in the world and Berlin ended up winning the second place (only Ibiza scored higher). Partying in Berlin scored the maximum amount of point on the aspects opening-hours and music. If you partied in Berlin before, you know that CNN is right: Berlin never sleeps and it is a great benefit that many great and talented DJ’s love to perform in the capital of Germany. Besides the opening-hours and the music, the clubs in Berlin also offer very reasonable prices: For about 10-15 Euro you can party in Berlin and see some of the best artists from all over Europe.
Because Berlin offers many different clubs, it might be useful to get some help when you are choosing the right place to visit on your precious free nights. On Berlin-Enjoy you can find articles about clubs in Berlin on a regular basis, but in this article we will present the best locations to party in Berlin in the current month. We selected the coolest clubs, the best DJ’s and the sweetest events and put them in the list.
Chosing events obviously comes with a great deal of subjectivity. Therefore we will always attempt to explain why a certain event should be visited and you will also find a lot of links to mixtapes and songs of the specific artists. But always keep in mind that the events are selected because we think they are great and not everybody has to share this opinion. Berlin offers a lot of great Techno and (Deep)House parties, so you will find many of them in the party-calender. If you do not agree with the events, feel free to leave a comment or contact us about great gigs and events which we should visit.
Party in Berlin: February 2018
January and February are probably the most quiet months in Berlin when it comes to tourism. The whole year Berlin is always crowded but in these months there are no Christmas Markets, Open-Airs or large Festivals so it is a bit less busy in the clubs and around the touristic attractions. The temperatures are low so staying in a long cue for clubs is not really an option in my opinion. Therefore you might want to choose your clubs wisely in February: Maybe buying a ticket upfront would be a good idea for example. Or maybe this could be your chance to get into populair clubs like the Kater Blau or Berghain? Anyway: For the people who love to party in Berlin there are plenty of reasons to visit Berlin in February.
Lexer, Joachim Pastor, Tale of Us and more
As mentioned, February has plenty to offer when it comes to great acts and talented DJs. Some real Berliner DJs will be performing and besides that some popular international names will also be visiting Berlin. If you are visiting Berlin to party, you will be excited to hear that talented DJs like Lexer, Joachim Pastor, Tale of Us, Damiano von Erckert and Matthias Kaden will be performing. If you never heard of these names before you can always listen to their music on Soundcloud: I mostly present a liveset or mixtape below the parties in Berlin in this article. So just take some time to listen to the music before the party iso you get a good idea of what to expect.
Below you can find the list of my favourite events to party in February 2018. You can decide to scroll down or click on one of the following links. We also added the two last events of last month to make the list as complete as possible.
02.02.2018 – Matthias Kaden in Watergate
The Watergate is one of the most stylish clubs in Berlin and also a bit more expensive than most others. The entrance is normally 15 euro and a beer will costs 4 euro. Although the prices are a bit higher, most people love the Watergate and I personally also think it is worth the few extra Euro’s. The club has two floors and an awesome view on the Spree. If you want to read more about the Watergate, you can read my previous article.
Matthias Kaden is the DJ I would personally love to see perform in the Watergate. Matthias Kaden is a German DJ which was born in the year 1981. He has been around for quite some time and made a large amount of records in the last decade. His massive amount of followers on Soundcloud and Facebook proof how popular this DJ is. If you want to listen to some of his music before you party, you can click here.
DJs: Matthias Kaden
Address: Falckensteinstraße 49
Entrance: 15 Euro

03.02.2018 – Lexer in Kater Blau
One of the most popular clubs in Berlin of all times has been the Kater Holzig. If you have read my article about the Kater Holzig, you probably know that it was really a unique place to party in Berlin. But unfortunately the club had to close down and Berlin lost one of his great venues. But lucky enough the people behind the Kater Holzig opened a new place: The Kater Blau. The club is located directly at the Spree and still has this same unique feel to it. It is quite hard to get in, but the place is definitely worth a visit.
If I would have to choose a favorite DJ, Lexer would definitely be in my top 3. In the last couple of years I have seen this German DJ perform several times and he has never disappointed me. His liveset are always of great quality and he always manages to find the perfect mix between techno and house. If you would like to listen to some of his livesets, you can check out his Soundcloud.
Club: Kater Blau
Address: Holzmarktstraße 25
Entrance: 12 Euro
Music: Techno, House

09.02.2018 – Joachim Pastor in Ritter Butzke
The Ritter Butzke is one of the clubs in Berlin which is represented in my party-calender almost every month. If you like to party in Berlin and you love a solid line-up, you will probably love the DJs which are performing in the Ritter Butzke. The good thing is, that the Ritter Butzke has the same entrance-prices as all the other clubs in Berlin. For 10-15€ you can see these popular DJs in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
Joachim Pastor is a French DJ who has been fascinated by music since he was 4 years old. In comparison to many other DJs in this list, he is actually able to play some instruments besides his DJ-Panel. This also ensures that his livesets are melodic and versatile. If you want to listen to his music before you party in Berlin, you can click on this link.

10.02.2018 – Damiano von Erckert in About:Blank
A club which is also located almost directly at station Ostkreuz is About Blank. A while ago I already wrote a full article about it because I really think it is one of the better clubs Berlin has to offer at this moment. The club About Blank has a very large garden which is perfect in the summer: Funny features like a campfire and some cool places to sit make this club special place.
Damiano von Erckert is a German DJ from the west of Germany (Köln). His music-taste is very versatile and his sets are full of influences from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. When you like melodic music, this DJ will offer you a great time. If you want to listen to some of his music before you go and party in Berlin, you can click here.

16.02.2018 – Tanith in Suicide Circus
The Revaler Straße and the whole area around the Warschauer Brucke is one of the most popular party-areas in Berlin. The club Suicide Circus is also located in this area and therefore plenty of people find there way into this club every weekend. The Suicide Circus is one of these raw clubs in Berlin which we all love so much: An old building with a dark dance-floor and great music. When it is warm enough you will also be able to dance in the garden.
Tanith is a German DJ which was performing in Berlin before I was born (1986). Tanith is over 50 years old so a real experienced guy who knows how to create a great atmosphere in a club. He has been playing different styles of music during his career but nowadays he mostly focuses on techno. If you want to listen to his music you can have a look at his Soundcloud.
Club: Suicide Circus
Address: Revaler Strasse 99
Entrance: 10 Euro
Music: House, Techno

17.02.2018 – Tale of Us in Bargain
Berghain is probably the most famous club in Berlin. If you are looking for a special experience or party in Berlin, it might be a good idea to visit the Berghain. The only small problem could be that it not easy to get into the Berghain these days. On a regular Saturday-night there is a long line and about half of the people will unfortunately not get in. So if you want to visit the Berghain, make sure you are prepared for a small disappointment.
But IF you get into the Berghain you will have a great night. This club has been voted as the best club in the world a couple of times. So I would suggest you make the best of the time you are waiting and if you will not get in you can always try another club in the same area. You do not have much to lose and if you get in, you are in one of the best clubs in world!
Tale of Us are two Italian DJs which are also known by the names Karm and Matteo. Just like many other DJs, they decided to move to Berlin to follow their musical carreer. They often perform on larger festivals and in clubs in Berlin. Their livesets are full of explosive climaxes, which will be awesome in a club like Berghain. If you want to listen to one of their livesets you can click here.
DJs: Tale of Us
Address: Am Wriezener Bahnhof 70
Entrance: 14 Euro
Link to event: Berghain Website
23.02.2018 – Baikal in Wilden Renate
Another club in Berlin which is a must-visit, is the Wilden Renate. This club is located close to Ostkreuz and very popular because of its unique style. This club has many different floors and will remind you of an old house with many surprising rooms. As mentioned, the Wilden Renate is a popular place so it is best to arrive early, not with a very large group and with at least a few girls.
The line-up of the Wilden Renate might not be as spectacular as the Watergate or Ritter Butzke but if you like to see some talented local djs in action, this is the place to visit.. The Renate focuses more on local heros so why not get to know some new DJs when you are partying in Berlin. Besides that the club has many different floors (if they are all open) so you will probably find one which will suit your taste of music. One of the DJs which will be performing on this night is Baikal and his livesets are definitely solid. If you want to get an impression before the party, check out his liveset at the festival Into the Woods in the Netherlands here.
Club: Wilden Renate
Address: Alt Stralau 70
Entrance: 12 euro

24.02.2018 – Milton Bradley in Tresor
Obviously I would not recommend visiting the same club twice if you are in Berlin for a short period of time. The clubs in Berlin are very different from each other when it comes to style, people and atmosphere. But this list has to sum up the coolest parties in Berlin and in my opinion a party with Super Flu should always be part of that. Therefore the Ritter Butzke is represented in the list two times this month. More information about the club itself can be read here.
Milton Bradley is the owner of the Labels Do Not Resist the Beat and Alien Rain. He did some work with Henning Baer and lives in Berlin at the moment. His music fits perfectly to the Tresor because he normally plays solid techno-sets. If you want to listen to his music already, you can find a Boiler-Room set together with Henning Baer here.
DJs: Milton Bradley
Address: Köpenicker Straße 70
Entrance: nog onbekend
