Partying in Berlin is a great experience. There are not many cities in the world who can compete with the nightlife in Berlin and the great parties are defenitely a reason to visit the capital of Germany. The clubs in Berlin are very versatile and the prices are very reasonable.
Clubs in Berlin
In November 2012, CNN compared some of the beste nightlife-cities in the world and Berlin ended up winning the second place (only Ibiza scored higher). Partying in Berlin scored the maximum amount of point on the aspects opening-hours and music. If you partied in Berlin before, you know that CNN is right: Berlin never sleeps and it is a great benefit that many great and talented DJ’s love to perform in the capital of Germany. Besides the opening-hours and the music, the clubs in Berlin also offer very reasonable prices: For about 10-15 Euro you can party in Berlin and see some of the best artists from all over Europe.
Because Berlin offers many different clubs, it might be useful to get some help when you are choosing the right place to visit on your precious free nights. On Berlin-Enjoy you can find articles about clubs in Berlin on a regular basis, but in this article we will present the best locations to party in Berlin in the current month. We selected the coolest clubs, the best DJ’s and the sweetest events and put them in the list.
Chosing events obviously comes with a great deal of subjectivity. Therefore we will always attempt to explain why a certain event should be visited and you will also find a lot of links to mixtapes and songs of the specific artists. But always keep in mind that the events are selected because we think they are great and not everybody has to share this opinion. Berlin offers a lot of great Techno and (Deep)House parties, so you will find many of them in the party-calender. If you do not agree with the events, feel free to leave a comment or contact us about great gigs and events which we should visit.
Party in Berlin: March 2017
The first three months are a bit less busy in Berlin if it comes to tourism. The whole year Berlin is always crowded but in these months there are no Christmas Markets, Open-Airs or large Festivals so it is a bit less busy in the clubs and around famous spots like Brandenburger Tor. The temperatures are low so standing in line for clubs is not really an option if you ask me. For that reason you might want to choose your clubs wisely in March: At some clubs you can buy tickets upfront so you know that you will get in. Or maybe look at it from another angle: This could be your chance to get into populair clubs like the Berghain or Watergate. Anyway: For the people who love to party in Berlin there are plenty of reasons to visit Berlin in March 2016.
Koletzki, Beatamines, AndHim and more
As mentioned, March has plenty to offer when it comes to great acts and talented DJs. Some real Berliner DJs will be performing and besides that some popular international names will also be visiting Berlin. If you are visiting Berlin to party, you will be excited to hear that superstars like Oliver Koletzki, Beatamines, Jiggler, AndHim will be performing this month. If you never heard of these names before you can always listen to their music on Soundcloud: I mostly present a liveset or mixtape below the parties in Berlin in this article. So just take some time to listen to the music before the party so you get a good idea of what to expect.
Below you can find the list of my favorite events to party in March 2017. You can decide to scroll down or click on one of the following links:
03.03.2017 – Jiggler in Kater Blau
One of the most popular clubs in Berlin used to be the Kater Holzig. If you have read my article about the Kater Holzig, you probably know that it was really a unique place to party in Berlin. But unfortunately the club had to close down and Berlin lost one of his greatest venues. But lucky enough the people behind the Kater Holzig opened a new place: The Kater Blau. Now the club is located directly at the Spree and still has this same unique feel to it. It is not that easy to get in, but the place is defenitely worth a visit.
Jiggler is a talented German DJ whos music-style fits in the category Deephouse. He is part of the label Stil vor Talent, which is owned by the famous DJ Oliver Koletzki. If you like versatile music and a good atmosphere, it is definitely worth you time to visit this night. If you want to listen to some music first, you can checkout this liveset in the Katerblau.
Club: Kater Blau
Address: Holzmarktstraße 25
Entrance: 12-15 Euro
Music: Techno, House

04.03.2017 – AndHim in Ritter Butzke
The Ritter Butzke is one of the clubs in Berlin which is represented in my party-calender almost every month. If you like to party in Berlin and you love a solid line-up, you will probably love the DJs which are performing in the Ritter Butzke. The good thing is, that the Ritter Butzke has the same entrance-prices as all the other clubs in Berlin. For 10-15€ you can see these popular DJs in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
AndHim exists of the two friends Simon Haehnel & Tobias Müller from Köln. The two friends have been popular all over the world for quite some time now. Besides the fact that their livesets, this DJ-duo are very funny in their video-clips, facebook-posts and other communications as well. If you check out their website you will probably understand what I mean. Also the clip from their song Boy, Boy, Boy will probably make you laugh. These guys know how to party and therefore it could be a great choice to go and see them live in Berlin.

10.03.2017 – Tyree Cooper in Suicide Circus
The Revaler Straße and the whole area around the Warschauer Brucke is one of the most popular party-areas in Berlin. One of the many clubs in this area is the Suicide Circus (Revalerstraße 99). This club offers plenty of solid DJs and reasonable prices so why not give it a try.
Tyree Cooper is an American DJ who got famous for being one of the first to play House HipHop. I saw Tyree Cooper live in About:Blank once and this was one of the best nights in Berlin I had so far. Mister Cooper performed awesome and since that moment I try to visit him every time he visits Berlin. There is not that much music of him on Soundcloud, but here you can find a mixtape.
DJs: Tyree Cooper
Club: Suicide Circus
Address: Revaler Strasse 99
Entrance: 10 Euro
Music-Style: House, Techno

11.03.2017 – 90er Rave in Arena Club
The Arena Club is located about 20 meters from the most famous Swimming Pool in Berlin: The Badeschiff-. This means that the club is located directly at the Spree and therefore it is especially cool to visit the Arena in the Summer. The club often offers large DJs (like Oliver Schories, Tommy Four Seven, Daniel Steinberg) and the prizes are reasonable. The club itself consists of one larger floor and one quite small room which is great for hard techno because you can really feel the music.
Arena Club might not be the coolest club in Berlin, but they offer quite a lot of cool parties throughout the year. On this saturday you can visit the club and enjoy a 90s rave. Fly back in the time with DJs like DJ Quicksilver, Mark Oh, Marusha, Kai Tracidand many more. If you like 90s music and are looking for a cool party-night in Berlin, this might be a great party for you.
DJs: DJ Quicksilver, Mark Oh
Club: Arena Club
Address: Eichenstrasse 4
Entrance: 20 Euro
Music-Style: 90s Rave

17.03.2017 – Oliver Koletzki in Watergate
Watergate is one of these clubs located at the Spree and a very popular place for both tourist and Berliners. In my opinion the club misses a little bit of the rawness of Berlin but it defenitely offers some great features to compensate. There is a balcony directly above the water and when the sun rises it offers the best view ever. Besides that the line-up of Watergate is normally like a great festival: Many large DJs and great labels. If you want to read more about the Watergate, you can read this article.
Oliver Koletzki is one of the most famous DJs in Germany and also known all over Europe. He has been “in the scene” for quite some time and is also the owner of the popular label Stil vor Talent. On this Stil vor Talent party in Berlin you can expect some of the best DJs of this label. Channel X, Benotmane and Illesnoise will all be present on this night in the watergate. If you want to listen to some livesets, you can find one from Oliver Koletzki here.
DJs: Oliver Koletzki
Address: Falckensteinstraße 49
Entrance: 15 Euro

18.03.2017 – Beatamines in Kosmonaut
A club which has been around since a couple of years now is called the Kosmonaut. This club opened its doors in 2012 and has already found a way to make a name in the nightlife of Berlin. Every week many party-people visit the Kosmonaut for the great atmosphere and quality-music. This club is located in one of these old buildings and has large garden which is especially awesome during the summer. You can walk to the club from station Frankfurter Tor and the door-policy is quite reasonable compared to some other Berliner-clubs.
Pascal Augner is the talented DJ behind the original name Beatamines. I am not sure where the name came from but it sounds like a combination between vitamines and beats. Beatamines recorded some great tracks in the last couple of years and also played at Fusion in 2016. If you want to listen to that liveset, you should just press the button and enjoy.
Address: Wiesenweg 1-4
Entrance: 10-12 Euro

24.03.2017 – Niconé in Ritter Butzke
Obviously I would not recommend visiting the same club twice if you are in Berlin for a short period of time. The clubs in Berlin have so much to offer and differ from each other in style, atmosphere and music. But this list has to sum up the coolest events in Berlin and Niconé is definitely worth a visit, even though the Ritter Butzke was mentioned already once in this list.
The DJ which would interest me the most on the line-up of this party in Berlin, is Niconé. This young DJ is often playing together with Sasha Braemer and is part of the label Stil vor Talent. I have seen Niconé perform several times and his sets are very solid and fun. Here you can find one of my favourites of Niconé which was recorded in “Club Autonomica”.
Club: Ritter Butzke
Address: Lobeckstrasse 30
Entree: 12-14 euro

25.03.2017 – Rødhåd in Berghain
Berghain is probably the most famous club in Berlin. If you are looking for a special experience or party in Berlin, it might be a good idea to visit the Berghain. The only small problem could be that it not easy to get into the Berghain these days. On a regular Saturday-night there is a long line and about half of the people will unfortunately not get in. So if you want to visit the Berghain, make sure you are prepared for a small disappointment.
But IF you get into the Berghain you will have a great night. This club has been voted as the best club in the world a couple of times. So I would suggest you make the best of the time you are waiting and if you will not get in you can always try another club in the same area. You do not have much to lose and if you get in, you are in one of the best clubs in world!
Just like many other DJs which are mentioned in this monthly article, Rødhåd is a DJ who is based in Berlin itself. His real name is Mike Bierbach and he is famous for his deep electronic sound. Rødhåd can be found in Berliner clubs on a regular basis and on this night in Berlin he will perform in the Berghain. If you want to get an impression of his music you can click here .
Address: Am Wriezener Bahnhof 70
Entrance: 14 Euro

31.03.2017 – Patrick Skoog in Wilden Renate
Another must-visit for everybody who loves to party in Berlin, is the Wilden Renate. This club is located close to Ostkreuz and very popular because of its unique style. This club has many different floors and will remind you of an old and abandoned house with many surprising rooms. Because the Wilden Renate is a popular place it is advisable to arrive early and with a mixed group of genders. It is easiest to reach the Wilden Renate from the stations Ostkreuz or Treptower Park.
The line-up of this party in March is not the most spectacular of this list, but nights in the Wilden Renate are always great because of the club itself. The club does not focus on headliners or famous DJs but more on talented local DJs. Because there are so many rooms in this Club, this night can be a great opportunity to discover some new artists. One of the DJs who will be playing is Patrick Skoog, you can listen to his music before partying in Berlin, all you have to do is click here.
DJs: Patrick Skoog
Club: Wilden Renate
Address: Alt Stralau 70
Entrance: 12 euro
