The great thing about Berlin is that you can see bands from all over the world perform for reasonable prices. Bands, DJs and singer-songwriters love to come to Berlin because the crowd is usually very outgoing and it’s nice to be in such a vibrant city with plenty of highlights and parties for them. In this post we are focusing only on Australian concerts in Berlin in 2025.
Australian Bands in Berlin
Since we went backpacking in Australia in 2008, we have never stopped listening to Australian music. It’s that special laidback sound which we love so much. Back then we loved to listen to Xavier Rudd and Pete Murray and in the last years Sons of the East, Felipe Baldomir, Teskey Brothers and many others were added to that list. As some of these Australian Bands are coming to Berlin this year, we are very excited about the year 2025.

Tay Oskee in Badehaus
Tay Oskee is an musician who was born in Darwin, Australia. He has a refreshing sound which combines the elements folk, blues and Australian roots music. His lyrics are uplifting and he is great on the guitar. One of his most famous songs is Floating, which has been listened to 31 Million times on Spotify right now. It’s awesome that he decided to do some touring in Europe and Berlin obviously will be one of the cities he is going to play.
Venue: Badehaus
Tay Oskee will be performing in a place called the Badehaus. It’s located in the center of Berlin on the vibrant RAW-Gelände which is the home to several Berliner clubs and restaurants. The Badehaus is used for parties but also offers a wide range of music events. It’s a rather small place which is great for concerts because it can become real intimate with the bands. Obviously it’s great that tickets are available for 25€ already.

Thursday the 12th of June
Felipe Baldomir in Badehaus
Felipe Baldomir is not born in Australia but is currently living there. On top of that his sounds fit perfectly in this post with nice bands and singer-songwriters. His sound combines elements of folk, indie & rock and it’s hard to stand still when he plays his lovely tracks. Songs like Ocean is Calling and Changing and Healing have the perfect Australian-Backpacker-Sound and it’s such a treat that he is coming to Berlin this year.
The Badehaus
Just like Tay Oskee, the concert of Felipe Baldomir will also take place in the Badehaus. This is a good thing because it’s so easy to combine with other great activities in Berlin. At the RAW-Gelände you can also do Hotrod-Driving, visit a Christmas market or visit a flea-market on Sundays.

The Teskey Brothers in Zitadelle
The Teskey Brothers (Sam & Josh) are from Australia and have been making music together for a very long time. As teenagers they were busking on the street in Melbourne (just like me). In 2008 a drummer and a bass-guitar player joined and they started playing many gigs in pubs and bars. Their first album (2017) was called Half Mile Harvest and was a great success. In 2022 the brothers Teskey decided to move on as a duo and launched their latest album The Winding Way in 2023. Their sound is a great mix of blues, folk and rock and it’s one of the concerts in Berlin in 2025 you should not miss.
The Zitadelle
Another reason why you do not want to miss this concert in Berlin is the venue: The Zitadelle is one of the nicest places I have ever been to a concert (Ben Howard in 2016). The Zitadelle is one of the best maintained castles in Europe and every year you can also celebrate NYE in Berlin here. It’s located in the west of Berlin but can be reached by public transport quite easily.

Wednesday the 17th of September
Sons of the East in Columbia Theater
Sons of the East consists of three friends from the northern beaches of Sydney, Australia. The band was formed in 2011 and their debut-album came out in 2013. The song Come Away on that album boosted the popularity of this Australian band greatly. After two more albums in 2015 and 2022 they have a new album out this year too and its called SONS (pre-order here). Live on stage these guys are so energetic and fun that you must visit one of their concerts. What a great chance now that they are coming to Berlin!
Columbia Theater
The Columbia Theater in Berlin is a renowned concert venue with music events and performances almost every week. The venue is located in the Tempelhof district and has a capacity to accommodate around 2,000 people. Columbia Theater is easily accessible by public transportation and conveniently located. We expect this to be one of the better concerts in 2025 so make sure you’ll be part of it.
