The first 20 years of my live I lived in a very small village in the middle of The Netherlands. It is not a big surprise that I was greatly impressed by the beauty and possibilities of Berlin. An amazing multicultural city which is alive almost every hour of every day. My name is Job and I am the blogger behind Berlin-enjoy.com.
My passion for Berlin
The love for Berlin started in Australia, Darwin. But at first, I did not start with love for Berlin but for the girl who lived there. From that moment on I started visiting the great capital of Germany at least once a month. Both the love for the girl and the love for the city of Berlin grew stronger in these years. So after a while I decided to enjoy Berlin as a full-time “job”: Now I am sleeping, working, partying and enjoying in Berlin every day of the year.
Sharing is Caring
When people from the Netherlands visit me, I want to provide them with the best possible advice. Therefore I always ask the locals: Where is the best party? Where can I eat the best burger? Which area is the best for shopping? It would be egoistic to keep all this information for myself. Everybody should be able to chose between the many beautiful places which Berlin has to offer. And then I am not only referring to regular places like Brandenburger Tor and Madam Tussauds, we are always trying to visit alternative things which are not in every Berlin-Guide.
So that is why I started this travel-blog in the first place. We write articles whenever we have something interesting to share with you. Once in a while I will also write an article about a travel-destination which is a bit further away from Berlin. My travels to Ghana, Cambodia and Sri Lanka have been great experiences and I just love to show you the photos and tips. Also in Europe we often visit interesting cities like Prague. To help you on these travels we also publish posts regarding ways to travel on a budget and how to reach Berlin the cheapest way.
Hopefully you like the articles on my blog and agree with my opinions most of the time. Of course it is all connected to my personal taste so I am very open to receive your opinions and own experiences. You can send us a message in the contact-section or fill out the form below. Besides that you are always welcome to leave comments under articles.
If you are interested in a cooperation or want to test or promote an article for you, you can always contact us. You can read more about our monthly visitor-numbers on the cooperation-page.

Thanks Vera! See you in Stattbad next week 😀
I’m planing for my first travel to Berlin in early Oct, thanks to your blog, I found a lot of informations about Berlin. But since this time I will be travel by myself, and knowing that Berlin is a city known for splendid nightlife, I’m a bit concerned that I will somehow miss this part. Can you advise how can I meet-up people even I’m first in town and knowing nobody here?
Besides, I’m working for a French advertising firm in SHANGHAI, I would like to visit some of the creative / ads agencies here in Berlin, can you suggest some?
I’m September, from Shanghai, China, will be visiting Berlin during Oct 3-9th, would be great if you could help me with my questions.
If you stay in a Hostel it is normally not very hard to meet some people to party with. Backpackers are very open minded and will be glad to take you along.
About the advertising-companies: Unfortunately I will not be able to answer that question, best to check the internet for yourself or ask around in Berlin!
Have fun and safe travels!
I’m leaving for Berlin in the morning and couldn’t be more excited. I just stumbled upon your blog and absolutely love it. It’s definitely from a local’s perspective. Thanks for all the tips/history and points of view.
Thanks Kevin, hope you have a great time in Berlin!!!
Hey Job. Wat een topblog heb je. Goede tips enzo.
