We have been visiting Lollapalooza Berlin several times and every time we had a great time as you can read in our review of the festival in 2019. The 2026 edition is coming up on July 18 and 19, and it looks like another big one with some massive headliners. In this post we share what we know so far about the lineup, the venue and what you can expect of Lollapalooza 2026 in Berlin.

Weekend-Festival in the Olympiastadion
Just like the last couple of editions, Lollapalooza Berlin 2026 will take place at the Olympiastadion and the surrounding Olympiapark in the west of the city. This venue has worked well for the festival since 2018 as Hertha BSC plays its home-matches here and therefore the logistics are perfectly accustomed for massive crowds. Compared to the usual electronic weekend-festivals we write about Lollapalooza suits you better if you do not like camping and love large headliners.
The festival gates open at 11:00 am on both days. On Saturday the site closes at 1:00 am, and on Sunday it closes at midnight.

Line-Up With Lewis Capaldi, Teddy Swims and Pitbull
The lineup for 2026 has more than 30 acts and mixes pop, dance, electronic and alternative music. Saturday will be headlined by Pitbull, Lily Allen and Tom Odell. On Sunday acts like Lewis Capaldi, Lorde, Teddy Swims and Anitta will be making it worth your visit. If you more into electronic music festivals, you will have a good time with DJs like Boys Noize, ARTBAT, Victor Ruiz and Trancemaster Krause.
We feel it’s a good mix for a festival weekend: big pop names for the main crowd, plus some proper electronic and dance acts for people who like a bit more bass.

More than just music
As always, Lollapalooza Berlin is about more than the stages. The sustainability area Grüne Kiez and the fashion hub Fashionpalooza will both be back in 2016 as well. There is also a fun area for kids on the so called Kidzapalooza: Kids tickets (ages 7-12) and teen tickets (ages 12-15) are available at a reduced price, so this is still a festival you can visit with the whole family.

Frequently asked questions
When the title states “What to expect from Lollapalooza” we should answer most of the questions you might have. Therefore you can find some FAQs below:
Public transport is by far the easiest option. The Olympiastadion has its own S-Bahn and U-Bahn stops, so you can get there and back without much hassle. If you are travelling from outside Berlin, Deutsche Bahn usually offers a discount on event tickets for festival weekends.
Yes. Lollapalooza Berlin is an all-ages festival and has its own kids area called Kidzapalooza, with activities for families. There is also a reduced Kids ticket for ages 7-12 and a Teen ticket for ages 12-15, plus a separate family entrance to keep the queue shorter.

No, you are not allowed to bring your own food. There are plenty of food stands inside instead, including vegetarian, vegan and allergy-friendly options.
You can’t bring bottled water or any drinks in from outside. But you can bring an empty foldable drinking bottle up to 500ml, since there are free drinking water taps on the festival grounds to fill it up.
It’s great that Lollapalooza 2026 is offering free water on the festival-grounds. In July it can be very hot and therefore it’s important to stay hydrated. Bring an empty bottle that you fill up or order a drink and use your cup to fill up afterwards.
