A gift I personally would love to receive is a selection of German beers. If you do not live in Germany it can be hard to get your hands on Beers like Berliner Kindl, Augustiner or Erdinger. You can get these beers in every supermarket in Berlin so it’s not hard to make this gift idea happen. If you want to buy a pre-selected range of beers you can also go to the link below instead of collecting them yourself.

My Name is Job and originally from the Netherlands. In 2012, a girl I met in Australia motivated me to move to Berlin. I love to share the best places, activities and events in Berlin with you on my blog.

    • Hi Ren,

I am not sure in which offline store you could buy that souvenir. Amazon offers several Jägermeister shirts and if you use Prime you might get it before you have to leave.

If that is not a possibility, I would suggest trying touristic-shops in the Friedrichsstraße.

      Good luck!

While in Germany, can I buy like packages with different kinds of beer that I can bring home as a souvenir?

    • Hi Gerardo,

the main problem will probably be that beers are quite heavy. So if you will travel home by car it would be something you can do, but if not it will be hard to bring more than 3-4 beers home.

I haven’t seen any beer-packages but you could maybe buy a package to make beer yourself? Here you can find that present:

      Good luck!

  2. After five years of planning, I’m finally flying to Berlin tomorrow from Las Vegas. I want to find out if thare are any small statues of the Brandenburger Tor that I can bring back for my friends.

I am not totally sure what you mean, could you maybe send me a link or image from the souvenir?

    • Hi Donna,

I am not sure where you would get them for the lowest price. Normally the internet has a very fair price.

      Good luck!

  5. Hi Job

Can you recommend an evening out (dinner and drinks) for 2 young seniors exploring Berlin for the first time mid November 2016.

    • Hi Annie,

it depends a lot on your preferences: We really like the area around the Simon-Dach-Straße in Friedrichshain.

Maybe go there and just check out the menus of some restaurants.

      Have fun!
