Millions of people visit Berlin every year because of the extraordinary nightlife. Every weekend you can visit some of the best clubs in the world and enjoy livesets of very talented and famous DJs. The prices are lower than most other capital cities, the music is great and the people are laidback. Also during the week you can visit plenty of clubs but if you are interested in a different kind of experience you can also decide to visit an electro concert in Berlin instead.

Electro concert or club?

When people think about concerts, they usually think about a musical performance from a band or a singer-songwriter. Those concerts are great but nowadays you can also visit concerts where the main act is a DJ or an electronic live-act. You might wonder: Why not just go to a club then? Below we have listed some differences:

Generally speaking you can imagine that the experiences are quite different and the good thing is that you usually do not have to choose between one or the other. You can first go to an electro concert and then visit one of the clubs in Berlin afterwards.

Tuesday the 3rd of March
Tinlicker in Columbiahalle

Tinlicker is an electronic/live band trio, formed of Micha and Jordi (Netherlands) and new member Hero Baldwin (UK). Their music is a great mix between melodic synths, soulful vocals, evocative lyrics, heart-felt indie guitar and orchestral elements. They release their fourth album in February 2026, and have also made a few beautiful remixes of songs like Hide U, Children and Breezeblocks. In the last couple of years, their fanbase has grown rapidly because of successful global tours and great releases. Overall their songs have been streamed more than 1 billion times by now. Having them play a live concert in Berlin for the second year in a row is a real treat. The support-act for the night is Helsloot and tickets are available for 44€.

The Columbiahalle

The Columbiahalle is located right next to the famous Tempelhof Airport. It’s a former bus depot which was turned into an concert venue. The area has an industrial vibe and can be easily reached with the underground pubic transport (U6). When all tickets are sold out, about 3500 music-lovers can fit the Columbiahalle: It’s a pretty nice mix between an intimate bar and a massive arena. The area around the venue is not as vibrant as Kreuzberg or Friedrichshain but you can very easily find your way to those areas after the event.

Friday 3rd of April
Worakls Orchestra in Tempodrom

One of the electronic concerts in Berlin in 2026 we are really looking forward to is the one from the French composer and producer Worakls (real name: Kevin Rodrigues). This talented guy is famous for his unique mix of melodic techno and classical orchestration. Worakls, who began learning piano when he was only three years old, manages to blend his classical music-skills with electronic rhythms. Following the release of his new album From One Blink To Another, this performance is part of his European tour.

Tempodrom

This concert will take place in one of the larger venues in this list (and in Berlin). The Tempodrom, famous for its architecture because it looks a bit like a tent. Located centrally in the Kreuzberg, it is easily accessible by public transportation (U-Bahn Möckernbrücke is nearby). The venue. can hold around 3,500 people for standing concerts and this one is definitely for dancing.

Wednesday 6th of May
Safri Duo in Columbia Theater

One of the concerts in 2026 we are really looking forward to is the one from Safri Duo. Most of you probably know these Danish percussion heroes from the song Played-A-Live (The Bongo Song). Just like that first song they bring loads of energy to a venue when they are performing and you get the chance to see them live in Berlin in May 2026. The two friends, Uffe Savery and Morten Friis, manage to blend classical percussion with explosive EDM-Climaxes. I am sure they will get absolutely everyone in the Columbia Theater moving.
